Alex Fooksman, Esq.

Alex Fooksman is a partner at the Fooksman Law Firm P.C. Mr. Fooksman graduated from Hunter College in 2001 with a B.A., in Philosophy. Thereafter, he attended New York Law School, where he was on the Dean’s List and was a recipient of a prestigious Morris Weintraub Scholarship. Mr. Fooksman graduated New York Law School cum laude in 2006 with a Juris Doctor Degree.

Prior to joining the Fooksman Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Fooksman spent over a decade working for one the nation’s largest insurance companies, Progressive Insurance. During the last six years of his tenure at Progressive, he held the position of House-Counsel Trial Attorney. As a trial attorney, Mr. Fooksman successfully defended hundreds of the company’s clients in New York State courts. He is an experienced and aggressive litigator who brings his trial expertise and litigation skills to Fooksman Law Firm, P.C.’s deportation defense and federal litigation practice.

Mr. Fooksman is admitted to the New York State and New Jersey State Bar and can represent immigration clients in any jurisdiction across the United States.

Mr. Fooksman currently resides in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and two sons.
